Is it possible to make charcoal with herb residuals?
As we know, there are a lot of materials that can be used to make charcoal, such as sawdust, crop stalks, tree bark, waste materials of lumber mill, etc. Then, is it possible to make charcoal with herb residuals by briquette machine and carbonizing furnace under normal conditions? The answer is yes.
There are a lot of pharmaceutical factories now, which produce a mass of herb residuals every day. Burn the residuals directly would pollute the environment, and if you pour them into the soil, you would destroy the soil. Thus, the treatment of herb residuals becomes the most headache problem of pharmaceutical factories. However, making charcoal with herb residuals through the briquette machine, carbonizing furnace and other equipment not only solve the problem of residual treatment, but also add a revenue for the pharmaceutical factories.
In fact, the herb residuals can be made into charcoal after a series of processing like other raw materials, including crushing – drying – making briquettes – carbonizing.
1. Crushing: crush the residuals into particles of 2-4mm.
2. Drying: dry the crushed raw materials until the moisture content is 8-12%.
3. Making briquettes: briquettes with various types and diameters can be made according to the requirements of the customers. Generally, the diameter is 50.
4. Carbonizing: put the briquettes in the carbonizing furnace in order and charcoal would be made after high temperature distillation.
Customers can bring the herb residuals to our factory for site commissioning to check the quality of the final products and the working performance of our equipment. For more information about our briquette machine and carbonizing furnace, you may contact us by email or phone.
