The inspection of carbonizing furnace before production
Compared with the inspection before crushing, briquetting and drying, the inspection of carbonizing furnace before production is quite simple, since all kinds of spare parts in crushing, briquetting and drying need to be checked before production. Apart from the flue gas recovery unit, there is only a shell body with heat preservation and heating performance of the carbonizing furnace in the structural configuration. Thus, the examination work is less so complicated, usually the following two points should be done:
1. Generally, there would be a small amount of burnt black impurities on the wall of carbonizing furnace after carbonizing production for more than 3 times, which is similar to the scorched bottom of a pot. The operator should scrape the impurities with a shovel and remove them out of the carbonizing furnace before the next production to prevent that these impurities may drop due to the high temperature in the next carbonizing process. Once such impurities are mixed with the briquettes in the carbonizing furnace, it will directly affect the color and quality of carbonized product.
2. Before each carbonizing production of carbonizing furnace, the operator should check whether there is any broken or leak phenomenon on the flue gas recycling pipeline of carbonizing furnace. The detection method is that use the fan to ventilate from one end of the pipe to the other end, then calculate through to wind speed and air flow to make the right judgment. If the air volume is smaller or the wind speed is slower, then the pipeline may broken or get blocked that the operator should check timely to prevent gas leakage and other pollution in the carbonizing process of carbonizing furnace.
In the operation of carbonizing furnace, the briquettes produced by briquette machine should be placed uniformly (to make the briquettes heated better) – close the furnace door when the carbonizing furnace is filled with briquettes – light the fire accelerant in the furnace – turn on the induced draft fan – close the upper vent – open the lower vent – adjust the valve of smoke outlet until the smoke discharges smoothly – remove the ignition furnace when there is dense smoke discharged from the smoke outlet – fix the flange in the firing mouth – ventilate continuously. These steps should be operated in order and the ignition position and temperature should be noticed in the operation. High quality charcoal can be produced by knowing more service regulations before starting.
