How to improve the burning time of charcoal

Charcoal produced by briquette machine is a kind of ideal environmental protection clean fuel. It can be made by a wide range of materials, which are cheap. The shape of charcoal is regular. The calorific value is 7000-8500 kilocalorie. The carbon content is 75%-85%. The combustion time of every kilogram of charcoal is about 200 minutes. When combustion, it is smokeless and tasteless.

Raw wood charcoal, also known as tree charcoal, is made from the stems, trunks or roots of various trees, which are smothered and burned in the carbonizing kiln (furnace). Due to the different sizes of raw materials and moisture content, the solid quality is not stable enough. The calorific value is 5500-6500 kilocalories, and the combustion time is about 80 minutes per kg. The carbon content is 65%-75%. There are smoke and smell when burning the raw wood charcoal.
 
It is smokeless and no-spark when burning charcoal produced by briquette machine. The ash falls naturally during combustion with ash content of 3%- 6% after combustion. Briquette machine is the necessary equipment in the production of mechanism charcoal.
 
The burning time of the charcoal is determined not only by the high calorific value, but also by small surface area of the charcoal in contact with air. The surface area includes both the external surface and the internal pores. Though there is a lot of space inside the raw wood charcoal, its burning time is shorter than the charcoal produced by straw briquette machine.
 
To improve the burning time of charcoal, there are two main methods: one is to improve the molding pressure of straw briquette machine to increase the density and strength of briquettes. The other is to increase the final carbonization temperature the carbonizing furnace and heating and cooling slowly to make the charcoal produced has high density and high hardness.
