What's the feature of good charcoal?

1. The length of the charcoal: the length of the general mechanical charcoal box shall be more than 5cm, and the length limit shall be limited to the length of the carton.
2. The diameter of the charcoal. At present, most of the briquette machine manufacturers in China adopt the standard forming sleeve of 5cm in diameter, so the diameter of the finished charcoal should be less than 4cm.
3. The hardness of the charcoal: hold the charcoal stick vertically with one hand, and the charcoal should not be broken easily by the thumb. The quality of the charcoal with higher hardness is better. The charcoal produced is allowed to have a small crack and it does not affect its quality.
However, the large crack indicates that the density of semi-finished briquettes is not good or the excess oxygen in the process of carbonization, resulting in that the crack cannot completely shrink. Pick up two pieces of charcoal and collide, there should be crisp metallic sound.
4. The color of the charcoal: the color of the charcoal should be black and bright. If the charcoal produced is yellow, it indicates that there are too much impurities in the charcoal, and the ash content and volatile content would exceed the standard. Or the carbonizing process is below the standard that the charcoal produced are not carbonized completely.
