Maintenance of briquette machine is as follows:

 

1. At the beginning of production, it is necessary to clear up straw briquette after daily work and record the abnormal phenomena during production.

 

2. Check up the screw on the motor of straw briquette and conveyer parts for loose, when necessary, to adjust.  Carefully observe the wear-resistance of vulnerable parts.

 

3. Lubricate the bearing with grease. Add grease to the oil feeding hole of multi-rolling wheel(on top of eccentric shaft) once daily, add grease to the seat of vertical gear once a week, using lithium lubricating grease with heat resisting.

 

4. Adjustment of density. Check up the clearance and abrasion between multi-rolling wheels of briquette machine and the mould, when necessary, to adjust, repair, and change timely. Density of finished product should be adjusted through adjustment of clearance between press roller and mould. The most appropriate clearance that makes the best performance of main engine is 1.5-2.5mm.

 

When briquette machine clearance between mold and pressing wheel is over 5mm, output of straw briquette is greatly affected, or the briquette machine would be blocked completely. Methods of adjustment are as below:

Tightened the round nuts with spanner and take the connecting plate of press roller down. Then use allen wrench to loosen the tightened screws of eccentric shaft in the scraper blade. Rotate the spade half coupling with allen wrench, make the eccentric part of eccentric shaft outward to adjust clearance of pressing wheel and mould. Use the same way to adjust the other pressing wheel (maintain consistency of clearance up and down two wheels and mould, keep uniform of flange height). After the clearance is in place, fasten the locking screws and reset the connecting plate and fasten the round screw.
