What influence the quality of briquettes

As we know, only high quality briquettes produced by briquette machine can be carbonized into good charcoal. Then, how to guarantee the quality of briquettes produced by briquette machine? The following is a summary of the main points that need to be mastered.

Briquette quality of briquette machine

1. The moisture of raw material
Briquette machine has higher demand on the moisture of raw materials. The moisture content of raw material is generally between 5% to 12%. If the moisture content is lower than 5%, raw material conversion degrees are poor, briquette produced is not strong; if the moisture content is higher than 12%, the briquette is soft, easy to bend and the density is small.

2. The propeller
Whether the propeller is qualified or not determines the quality of briquettes produced by briquette machine. As a wearing part, the top part of propeller contact with the raw material in the process of high speed rotating would produce friction that would make its end face wear seriously. When the angle of end face gets smaller or the contact surface is rough with spots, briquettes produced can not meet the requirement. At this point, we should repair the propeller according to the teaching method of the technician to make it meet the technical requirements of the indicators. As long as the operator or maintenance personnel practice often, they will grasp it easily.

Normally, the following two kinds of working characteristics would appear when the propeller get damaged:
A. Briquettes produced are not strong enough. The surface of briquettes produced by briquette machine with damaged propeller usually have cracks, and they would be broken as long as exerting a little force.
B. Semi-finished products are significantly longer. When the punch of propeller gets damaged, the length of the original will be significantly shorter, so the processing with the forming cylinder can not meet the required depth, and then briquettes manufactured can not be processed under relative impact and compression, resulting in the final semi-finished products longer than the specifications.

3. The working temperature of briquette machine
The temperature of the forming cylinder in briquette machine should generally be controlled at 260℃ to 300℃. The temperature mainly depends on the raw material used in the production of briquette machine. First of all, we should know that the purpose of raw material heating is to soften the lignin and increase its viscosity for the high pressure molding. If temperature is too high, the raw material would be softened excessively. Although the producing speed is fast, the briquette is not strong and soft. If the temperature is too low, the viscosity of raw material is poor and the briquette is not strong as well, easy to form fault fracture. Thus, we have to repeatedly explore what is appropriate temperature of briquetting.
