Raw materials suitable for making charcoal with briquette machine
Larch is currently recognized as the most ideal raw material for making charcoal with
briquette machine. Because the lignin content of larch is moderate and the density is good, it can form the briquettes with high density and hardness under low molding temperature and small extrusion pressure. The briquettes can be finally made into the charcoal with excellent quality by complete set of equipment produced by our company.
Pine: Almost all pine trees are suitable for making charcoal. However, due to the differences in the nature of ingredients, there would be different problems in the production. For example, once the fibrous bond of white pine is damaged, it is difficult to recover that briquettes of high quality can not be produced even at high molding temperature and extrusion pressure. Then, it is required to mix other materials to improve their bonding ability. If the weakness of white pine in forming is overcome, we can use it to make high quality mechanical charcoal with briquette machine. Due to different growing regions and growth cycles, the composition ratio and structural characteristics of various pine species are different. However, if we can make reasonable and accurate analysis and take appropriate measures, pine is still an ideal raw material in the production of briquette machine.
Hard miscellaneous wood: There are a wide variety of hardwoods, such as birch, elm, wicker, most of the fruit trees and various southern bamboos. Its growth life is between the pine and cork commonly and the woodiness is harder. Most of them can be used as raw materials for the charcoal. However, due to the obvious differences in its composition characteristics, there are often many difficulties in using it as raw material for
sawdust briquette machine. One of the obvious problems is the weak adhesion ability. For some of the materials, it is no longer possible to solve the problem simply by mixing with other wood materials. The technical requirements are higher when using hardwood as the raw material of sawdust briquette machine.
