When nonferrous metal is fused, surface fluxing agent forms a protective layer on the surface of molten metal to separate the metal from the gas medium.

2. Carburizing agent manufacturing
All steel products that require high hardness and wear resistance of the surface and good toughness of the center need to be carburized. The carbon containing mixture used to carburize steel products is called carburizer. The carburizing effect of pure charcoal is poor. Therefore, charcoal is often used as raw material, and a certain amount of contact agent is added to make the carburizing agent.
 
3. Carbon disulfide production

4. Suppression of charcoal brick
The use of crushed charcoal is limited and difficult to transport, and the pressed charcoal bricks can turn small pieces of charcoal into high-quality fuel. Charcoal brick has the advantages of low moisture absorption and water absorption, high specific gravity, high calorific value and high mechanical strength in the process of use. The burnt charcoal brick is smokeless and produces no dust. It can be used in metallurgy and mobile gasifier.
