What equipment are needed in the production of charcoal?

In the production of charcoal, a set of equipment are needed, including the wood crusher, dryer, briquette machine, carbonizing furnace, etc. The process of making the branch, bark, wood chips and other raw materials into charcoal can be achieved through close cooperation between the four kinds of equipment.


 
Strictly speaking, the problem that what equipment are needed in the production of charcoal has no fixed answer. Because according to the different raw materials and demand of customer, the equipment  used in the production of charcoal is not the same. For example, when using the branches or block as raw materials for making charcoal, wood crusher should be used to crush the material into particles  of 10mm. While when using sawdust as the raw material, wood crusher is not needed, because sawdust particles itself can meet the requirements of the production of charcoal, so if the customer has a stable of sawdust as raw material, the wood crusher is not configured.

In addition, some customers choose to build their own kilns to carbonize the briquettes produced by the briquette machine in order to make high quality and high temperature carbon. Then, carbonizing  furnace can not be chosen.
 
In general, the briquette machine is essential when investing in the production of charcoal and the dryer is generally needed, because the moisture of the raw material is required between 8% and 12%. Too much or too little water will lead to the failure of the briquette making link. The rest of the equipment need to be configured according to specific analysis of the actual needs to meet the efficient energy-saving production of charcoal.
