What is the best raw material for making charcoal?

Under the current development trend of the more and more serious environmental pollution, the development and utilization of renewable resources become an important issue. As the energy conservation and environmental protection equipment, sawdust briquette machine is supported by the state in the development. What are the requirements in the investment of briquette machine and what raw materials can be used in the production of sawdust briquette machine?


 
Charcoal produced by sawdust briquette machine can be made of wood chips, wood shavings, branches, bamboo chips and other raw materials containing wood fiber, so sufficient available raw materials is the premise of the production of charcoal. In general, taking the plant as the center, there should be enough raw materials around 50 kilometers. In addition, investors should also consider the cost of raw material transport and try to reduce production costs.

Besides, the production of 1 ton of charcoal needs 3 tons of raw materials, while the charcoal production equipment with daily output of 1 ton covers an area of about 70 square meters or so. Coupled with the space for piling up raw material and finished products, generally the plant should covers an area of more than 200 square meters. A full set of charcoal production equipment includes the wood crusher machine, drying machine, briquette machine and carbonizing furnace. In order to ensure the production, we need to use three-phase electricity, because the household electricity cannot drive equipment with so large power for production.
 
The raw materials used for making charcoal with sawdust briquette machine must be adequate. Source of raw materials:
1. Forest residues: sawdust, wood shavings, bamboo chips, branches, bark, pine seed shells, fruit shells, etc.
2. Agricultural residues: rice husk, hemp stalk, corn cob, bean stalk, sorghum stalk, cotton stalk, cotton husk, peanut shells and relatively hard straw, etc.
3. Industrial residues: furfural residue, bake glue residue, sucrose residue, etc.
 
Two requirements for raw materials:
1. The raw material must be granular of 3-6mm or less.
2. The moisture content of raw materials shall not exceed 12%. If the raw material is not pellet, a wood crusher must be added. If the moisture exceeds 12%, a dryer should be added.
