The stress of raw materials in the forming cylinder of briquette machine

Briquette machine is the equipment that uses bamboo chips, wood sawdust, corner waste, peanut shells, rice husks, corn straw, cotton stalks and other waste as raw materials to make briquettes through crushing, drying, high temperature and high pressure processing, and then briquettes are put in the carbonizing furnace to make charcoal.


 
The charcoal produced can not only be used as barbecue fuel, but also be used as reducing agent in smelting industry, such as mono-crystal silicon smelting, copper smelting, steel making; additives for fertilizers and feeds in agriculture and animal husbandry; raw materials of carbon containing materials, such as production of gunpowder, firecrackers, mosquito - repellent incense, carbon disulfide, silicon carbide and so on.
 
The stress of sawdust in the forming cylinder of briquette machine is divided into two parts: one is the power by the motor through the screw; the other is the resistance from the inner wall of the barrel. Under normal circumstances, the power is greater than the resistance. The greater the power, the faster the production speed. Well the density of briquettes is proportional to the resistance, the greater the resistance, the greater the density.
 
In order to maintain the appropriate ratio of power and resistance, it can be achieved through two ways, one is to ensure the radial clearance of barrel and screw of briquette machine, generally the smaller the better. The second way is to reduce the resistance. When the gap between screw and barrel becomes larger, we can use heating ring to increase the temperature to reduce the resistance, and finally achieve the goal of reasonable release of the briquette. Besides, the moisture content of the raw material had better be controlled within 6% to 12%, which can effectively prevent the briquettes from cracking.
