Temperature changes during the operation of the carbonizing furnace

The environmental protection carbonizing furnace has a dual-use effect that material can be directly carbonized, or after being made into briquettes by the briquette machine. It adopts the advanced technology of combustible gas recovery, purification and cycle combustion. The carbonizing furnace solves the problem of smoke pollution to the environment, and the problem of thermal energy that the continuity of the equipment was improved.


 
In the process of use, three temperature stages should be noted: 1. In the drying stage from the beginning of ignition to the temperature rising to 160℃, the moisture contained in the briquettes evaporates mainly depends on the applied heat and the heat generated by the combustion itself. The chemical composition of the briquettes has barely changed. 2. In the initial stage of carbonization, heat is generated mainly by the combustion of the briquettes itself, and the furnace temperature rises to 160 ~ 280℃. At this point, thermal decomposition reaction of the wood material happens and its composition began to change. The unstable components, such as hemicellulose decomposes into CO2, CO and a small amount of acetic acid and other substances. 3. Comprehensive carbonization stage, in which the temperature is 300-650°. Rapid thermal decomposition of the material produces a lot of liquid products such as acetic acid, methanol and wood tar. In addition, flammable gases such as methane and ethylene are produced, which are burned in the furnace. Thermal decomposition and gas combustion produce a large amount of heat, raising the temperature of the furnace. Wood materials are made into charcoal by dry distillation at high temperature.
 
If you want to make high temperature charcoal, in addition to the above three attention stages, we still need to continue to increase the heat, so that the temperature in the furnace continues to rise to about 800℃ ~ 1000℃ that the remaining volatile substances in charcoal can be expelled, which improves the carbon content in charcoal that the graphite structure of charcoal increases and the electrical conductivity is enhanced.
